Sabby Sousa

Sabby Sousa, the self-proclaimed queen of all things pink, has been releasing dreamy pop music for the past five years. She is inspired by the early 2000s, female pop artists like Gwen Stefani, MARINA, and Charli XCX, and the aesthetics of Kawaii and J-fashion. In late 2019, she released her breakout single “Cream n’ Frosting” which rose to popularity through TikTok. The sound which was posted as a dance quickly amassed 2M+ videos on the platform. It was featured on Spotify’s Malaysia and the Philippines Viral 50 playlists and Apple Music’s 'Today’s Hits' and 'Top 100: Philippines' where it peaked at #5. The song has additionally been supported by major Filipino radio stations Wish FM and MYXCLUSIVE, and the song's music video premiered on Lyrical Lemonade.

Sabby has recently leaned into jubilant and bouncy beats mixed with early 2000s pop nostalgia. She has recently been working with producers House of Wold (Carlie Hanson, Cheat Codes), AObeats (Slayyyter, Terror Jr, Bronze Avery) and Taydex (Olivia O'Brien, sophie meiers, Princess Nokia) on her new mixtape "Spoiled!". The lead single "Cameron", released in June 2022, was added to Spotify's New Music Friday Canada, RADAR Canada, EQUAL Canada playlists. The song has additionally been supported by CBC Music and earned airtime on their Kitchener-Waterloo station. Sabby's second single "Bad Girl Like Me" was released in August 2022 was featured on Spotify's "It's a Bop" playlist. Sabby will release the third single from "Spoiled!" in November 2022, and we are working closely with the TikTok team to develop the sound on the platform. We will then release one more single in February 2023, and the full mixtape in the spring.
